Cooking All By Ourselves

     

Time flies！ Imperceptibly we have stayed in the United States for four months.During the past four months, I learned many things. One of them is cooking.

          I still remember the scene at that time when I cooked for the first.  I have never cooked before I came here. I thought cooking was easy before. However,when I cooked all by myself, I realized that I was wrong.It is as difficult as topology. When I heard the sound of hot oil, I began to be very nervous .I didn't know what should do next. 
          Now, I have learned some basic skills of cooking. I am very happy I have a chance to cook for myself. 

Sports

        I like sports,such as playing basketball,playing ping pang,and playing billiards.As the saying goes,life is lies in sports.Regular exercise can make your body strong and reduce illness.

        Every time I do some sports, I feel myself full of energy and younger than ever before.I like the feeling when staying in the open air. You can see the beautiful scenery and take a breath of fresh air.I will
       In the school,I like playing basketball with my classmates at the weekend no matter how hot or cold the weather is. We will play for the whole afternoon till every one is too tired to move.Then we will sit or lie on the school ground talking and laughing. They are my best friends at that time.
       Besides, I will go out to play billiards sometime with my roommates. It is a little expensive so we only play one or two hours every time. I don't play well but I am lucky.I lose the fierce passion which appears on the school ground and become a gentle man.I feel myself very cool and charming ,haha...
       I learned playing ping pang when I am 15 years old. I like it very much. It is a sport needing many skills.I was used playing ping pang at weekend with my partners when I was a student of middle school. However,I almost don't play it because of no partners.
       I am not strong in fact but I like sports. I like the feeling of moving.Do you like it?

    When I was in the high school, I liked listening to music to relax myself.During that time there were a lot of beautiful songs moving me.

     Angela Chang is a very pretty smart singer.She has made her determine to be an excellent singer since she was 15 years old.She is continuing working for her dream those years.Invisible wings is one of her beautiful songs.This song tells people to be optimistic and strong when facing failures and challenge. It teaches many students that no one can help you except yourself. 
Be Obedient To Mom's Words

     This is a song of Jay Zhou.This song tell children to love their mothers and do as their mothers tell them.Many young people sing this sang to their mothers to show their love, which they felt shy to say before.It is very a meaningful song.

Jay Zhou-Ten Years

        I have loved Jay Zhou since I was in the middle school.Till now I have listened his songs for ten years.The once sunshine boy who had long bangs and would be nervous when speaking in front of people ten years ago now becomes a real man with prudent and confident temperament.

        During the ten years,he also use him music change many people.He teaches the weak how to become strong.He teaches the children how to show their love to their mother. He uses ten years to walk into his fans hearts，He uses ten years to prove himself. He uses ten years to let a lot people who didn't like him before love him gradually.
       He said he would be 60 years old after 30 years and he hopes he can still sing with her fans at that time.He said he would continue creating new songs to return his fans who support him for so time.
       I love Jay. Listening to his classical style music, I become silent.Listening to his fast-paced songs,I become strong.Do you like him ?

       A man have his most loved woman.He wants to give her the whole love and also expects to get love from her.He hope they can live together for the whole life.However,the fact is not always as perfect as people expect.Sometimes the love between them doesn't last very long.He don't know why because he still love her and the love has never changed.

         When I was a child, I was always eager to grow up. However，now looking back at the past, I miss this past time and things very much.My childhood has gone forever and I am no longer the little boy who was always full of imaginat

        I liked running when I was a child.I fantasied that my arms were the wings of a bird and ran in the field with waving my arms.I felt I was a little bird flying in the breeze when I ran between the heaven and earth.I liked this feeling very much. I smelled the smell of sunshine and heard the laughter of flowers when I ran.I saw the branches of willows dancing and heard ears of wheat singing in chorus when I ran.
       Like most children, I liked asking my parents many strange questions when I was a child.Some still makes me laugh now when I think of them . I always asked my  mother where I came from and she always told me that I was picked up from the mountain.

      I liked watching the clouds in the sky when I was a child. I come from the countryside ，so I often spent the  time in the open air and I could saw a boundless stretch  of rural scenes.During that time I always looked up and watched the beautiful clouds.They looked like many kinds of animals playing in the sky.

One Funny Thing On The First Day Of College

      For the majority students, the first day of college is exciting and interesting because they can appreciate the campus scenery,make new friends and participate in student clubs.However,for me,it was so terrible a day that I don't want to go through a second.

      After moving my luggage into my dormitory. I went to the market which was located nearby the north gate of the school. After out of the market, I began to walk back with my own memory and  intuition. I was sure that I was not a direction-blind person and had seldom gotten lost before.
      "Turn right at the first corner. Then walk straight ahead until you see a  optical shop..."I told myself. However,a few minutes later, I became a little panic because some new buildings came to my eyes. Walking ten meters again,I was totally confused.
      Standing at a crossroad. I realized that I was lost. I didn't know what I should do at that time. I felt my whole body sweat because my hands carrying lots of thing and the weather was really hot. I told myself select a student looking kind in face to ask the way. I look around and walked towards wearing a white shirt.

      I told him my situation and asked him whether he could help me back my dormitory.He patted me  on the shoulder and told me not worry. I felt saved. However,what happened next made us not know whether to laugh or cry.
      When he asked the name of my dormitory , I suddenly realized that I didn't notice it before I came to the market.
       He thought for a moment and told me to follow him. After a few minutes,we arrived a building . Then ,we entered it and took the elevator. Finally , we entered one room I could not remember the number. A beautiful teacher was in the room.She told us this was "New Student Service Center"

       After hearing my situation, she smiled and asked my name and classes.She checking my basic information into the computer and knew that where was my dormitory. Out of the building , the kind student leaded me to my dormitory.
Now I will try my best to help new students because I know this is what the seniors should do.

Cycling To Tibet

          Do you know Tibet which is located in the southwest border of China?Tibet is famous for its magnificent natural scenery.Last summer vacation three of my classmates made a team to cycle to Tibet from Jilin which is very far from Tibet. They said that it was a very different travel and they would forget this experience.

         During  the term before the vacation, they had been planing this  journey. Because this journey would be a little dangerous and They always talked about what they should buy before setting off in the classroom after class.They bought three professional bicycles which looked very cool. Besides,they also bought other things which was needed in this journey, such as tents, helmets,simple medicines.
       Then after the final exam, they set off to Tibet.It was a very tired journey. They needed to ride their bicycles without stopping. They needed to repaired their bicycles when they didn't work. They needed to slept in the tents when they didn't find a hotel.
      However,it was also an very interesting and meaningful journey. They competed to see who rode their bicycles faster.They appreciated the beauty of the scenery along the way.They painted in the tents many interesting pictures.
      I think it is a very important experience of their life. They will never forget it. Do you have ever ridden to somewhere?

Jay Chou was born in a small town in Taiwan on January 18, 1979. He grew up in a single-parent family. Jay has always been shy and quiet, even as a child. He did not do well in school, and his mother often worried about his future.


　　As a small child, he showed a special sensitivity towards music. His mother enrolled  Jay in piano lessons when he was three years old. Jay practiced piano beautifully, and by the time he reached high school, he could improvise with many songs.

My Roommate

      Though my roommate is a young man of 180cm,he is sometime just as lovely as a child. In the class or other places where there are strangers, he will be very shy and hardly speaks. However,he will be very lively and full of energy when arriving where we live. Now let me introduce my roommate-Yanlin Li to you.

     He has a very funny habit. He specially loves to sleep. He always sleep over 11:00am at weekends.Then he gets up to eat lunch. After lunch ,he will go to sleep again. This time he won't be wake before 6:00pm.
     He is a man who doesn't like pop music.Most young people like pop music and think pop music fashionable.However, my roommate almost never listen to pop music. He often listen to Chinese classical music, especially the music played with erhu. He said that music of this kind was beautiful and could touch his heart.
    He likes watching cartoon, especially "One Piece" .He can sits besides the computer and sees a day of cartoon.He also read some books of cartoon. After watching a set of cartoon, he will browse some post bar about the cartoon.Every time after he watching a newly updated set of "One Piece", he will stop speaking and all of the words are about "One Piece".
    He is a very great roommate. I feel very happy to live with him.What about your roommate?

How to choose music to help sleep?

         Insomnia is a very painful thing. It is not just about sleep, but also seriously affected the next day's work efficiency and our state of mind.Nowadays, the problem is more common with young people because of  personal habits-usual sleeping very late and working or study pressure.They try many methods, drinking milk before going to sleep,counting sheep and doing some reading.However, the more you want to sleep, the more sleepless you are.

         I was also one of those people who is often insomnia before.However, now I seldom have a sleepless night because of music.Now I will listen to some light music before sleep and slowly I will fall asleep.
        Most time I choice some light music without lyric . This music just like flowing water in the stream. It makes you feel relaxed. Most time insomnia is due to that you can not relax yourself and you will think about something in your mind. This music will clean those things in your mind and make you feel sleepy.Then you will fall asleep quickly.

My Common Day

     A ray of sunlight came into my bedroom from the window when I woke up in the morning. Looking out of the window,I was happy that I am still alive.

Yanlin Li,who is a man of speaking little, is one member of my lovely roommates.Just like most introvert people,he is shy and doesn't like to speak in front of people. However,if you stay along with him, you can find the passion coming from his heart. You can find that he has his own incisive opinions on the controversial things happening around us.We are good friends even through we have different characters and hobbies.  Besides, he is handsome,but not obvious...ha ha  

  Shy maple leaves

Walking in the campus,you will find that autumn is a romantic painter. He paints the beautiful scenery for us.Maples with red leaves is one of his masterpieces.The breeze blowing, many maple leaves fall down from the tree like red butterflies flying and dancing in the air.Looking at them, I feel comfortable ,relax and happy. I want to praise them. The passionate color and the lovely shape show us the beauty and passion of autumn.

An old pair of shoes made in China

  Six months ago,I bought them in a shoe shop in China. I still remember that the salesman told me the shoes was last year's style and forty percent off when I bought them.However, I love them.The color and the style give me . Though they are old and deformed now, I still wear them.

   The messy desk

  I feel awkward to tell you that I am a man of misplacing things.Therefore, my desktop is always messy.Food , books and medicines, you can see many things randomly placed on my desktop.I know it is a bad habit many people laughed at me for this. However ,now I still can not break the habit. In the morning I clean my desktop and it will become messy again in the afternoon.

Annoying Topology

   This is a piece of topology note written by me in the topology class.From these squiggles,you can guess that I didn't feel happy when I took the note.Yes.It was a painful thing that you didn't understand what the teacher said and just copied what the teacher wrote on the board.Topology is complex and difficult for me. I need to spend more than twice of the time to understand it.However, I can not give up for not disappointing test scores and my self-respect.

    Lunch cooked by my roommate This is a very simple Chinese dish cooking the tomatoes and eggs together.I like the sour tomatoes and the soft eggs. To tell the truth it is a little too salty.

    The razor

Generally,the razors are only used by men.Now I need the razor everyday.I can't remember from when  I began to use it to shave after washing my face.A lot of men like to grow a beard because it looks a tough guy.However, I hate the feeling of pricking fingers when I touch my chin.

    My yellow coat

 Though it is a little small and too standing out., I like this coat for its passionate color. I  know I looks a little old than my age. 
     I have stayed in America for about four months. During this time,many unforgotten things happened. Some give me happiness.Some make me angry.Some torch my heart.Some broaden my horizons.Maybe in one morning sitting in the yard of my house, I will remember that one Monday I didn't catch the shuttle because of getting up late and ran to school.I will remember that I didn't understand the question and was very awkward when my English asked my question in one morning. What is about your life in USA ? Do you feel unforgettable?

My Real Friendship I Believe

    I am an introverted person who wants to speak but is afraid of speaking in front of people.Just like most introverted persons,I have not gain a lot of friendship until now.If you just know that a person does not love to laugh.You can not conclude that he is not optimistic . Similarly,you can not say I do not believe friendship because I do not have many friends.My real friendship I believe. I believe that a cordial friend is better than ten evil associates friends. I believe in real friendship.


   A cordial friend is a listener of your heart.He know what you want and can do it for you without looking forward to return.He know you want to find a person to listen to your complaining when you are wronged and will to be your listener. He know that you need a person to point out your shortcoming to present you from losing yourself when you are arrogant and will to be the "bad person".
   A cordial friend can give you happiness and moving.When you are tired and want to take a break, he can keep as quite as possible. When you are sad, he can accompany with you and try his best to make you happy even though in the midnight.When you are sick, he can take meals from the dining hall for you every day.

Really Love You

          In China both men and women who were born after the seventies of the last century almost all have ever listened to songs of Jiaju Huang, who was the soul of beyond band. He has countless fans in the worldwide, but the gods are always envious of the talented, he is just a music fairy with just a short life. Today, I would like to introduce a song of Beyond.

           Beyond have many beautiful songs. One of them is Really Love You, which was the theme song of the fourth album which was issued in 1989. The lyrics tell motherly love. It contains the emotion of thanks. 
           When Jiaju Huang was young, he did not have enough money to support his hobby music. Besides, at first Jiaju Huang’s father did not permit him to play band.However, his mother saved some money under the table to Support his choice. He loved his mother very much.He wanted to write a song to return her. Then the song Really Love You was coming. 
          This song tells young men to understand and thank their mothers. It helped many rebel young men. 
          What’s more, Jiaju Huang went to Africa later. He was very sad to see so many children who did not have food to eat. He adopted four children. He sang this song again. Then the song had more meaning, not only love for mother, but also the world .
